Four of Swords |
A woman holds a sword at rest but is prepared to continue the battle. One sword pierces the book of forbidden knowledge and another one passes through a page torn from the book. Respite after battle; possible illness or hospitalization; retreat from the stresses of life. Reverse Meaning: Desire to recover what is lost; imprisonment; refusal to face opposition; cowardice; guarded advancement. Is this saying I'm going to get sick? Is the respite from my outside life? Or is it that I have to go back to work today and that the respite is from THIS work, my REAL work? This card DOES express well how I feel about spending time at work and doing other things besides this. |
