Although I did give some away. =================================================================== total of 368,000 mg nic (equiv to 3680 ml of 100 mg/ml) - but only need bottles for 100mg/ml and 60mg/ml = 3 liters - and maybe some of 48mg/ml (some already came in glass) = 1 liter - 36mg/ml will be used first Each liter of 100 mg/ml would need 16 2/3 60ml bottles to store. Each bottle would make about 500 ml of base. Each liter of 60 mg/ml would need 11.11 90ml bottles to store. 8oz bottles (case of 12) $25/$25 - holds 96oz (2,880ml) - 240ml 4oz bottles (case of 24) $34/$30 - holds 96 oz (2,880ml) - 120ml or 4oz (case of 6) $13 (720ml) 2oz bottles (case of 24) $29/$30 - holds 48oz (1,440ml) - 60ml or 2oz (case of 12) $13 - holds 24oz (720ml) Above are Amazon prices. But, trueessence.com has 80 2oz amber bottles for $30 + $17.65 shipping. Much better! (72 4oz $35, 12 8oz $10, etc) I have 5 .5 liters of nic of varying strengths. One 500ml bottle is already opened. And, one 500ml bottle already came in glass. So, I need to re-bottle 4.5 liters into glass. I currently have one 1 liter glass bottle, one 500 ml glass bottle, and one 250 ml glass bottle. 4.5 liters - 1.75 liters = 2.75 liters still needing to be put into glass. Greg plans on having up to 8 extra bottles when he buys his 2 cases of glass bottles. That's only enough for 2 liters. So, I would still have 0.75 liters left in plastic. Put the 60mg/ml in the 1 liter bottle. Put the 100mg/ml in the 8 new 250 ml bottles. Put the 48mg/ml (the only one left that isn't in glass and that I don't have open) in the 500 ml bottle. And, save the 250ml bottle for when the 48mg/ml that I have open gets lower. That would leave the 36mg/ml in the original plastic. So, once I've used up half of the 48mg/ml bottle that I'm using and put the remainder in glass, open and start working on the 36mg/ml strength until that's gone. =========================================================================== If 3 ml of 18 mg/ml per day: 368,000 / 54 = 6.814 days = 18.6 years Use about 54 mg/day or 200 ml of 100 mg/ml per year ** If use 30 ml/wk at 12 mg/ml (360 mg/wk), ** then 360 * 52 = 18,720 mg/yr (187.2 ml/yr of 100 mg/ml) ** 1 liter of 100 mg/ml would last 5.34 years Or, for each (at 54 mg/day): 1 liter of 36 mg/ml = 1.7 years 1 liter of 48 mg/ml = 2.5 years 1 liter of 60 mg/ml = 3 years 1 liter of 100 mg/ml = 5 years RTS prices ------------- 1 ltr 48 mg/ml $68.95 1 ltr 60 mg/ml $81.95 1 ltr 100 mg/ml $139.95 If change to 12 mg/ml 3 ml/day, 36 or 40 mg/day then 40 mg/day * 365 days = 14,600/year (approx. 150 ml of 100 mg/ml per year) Therefore, 344,000 mg nic would last about 23 years If change to 6 mg/ml at 3 ml/day, 344,000 mg nic would last about 47 years and each liter of 100 mg/ml would last about 23 years. NO ============================================================================= Currently have in glass: 1 one-liter 1 500 ml plus 1 MFS 500ml 48mg/ml still in original bottle ============================================================================= To make 100ml of juice (Tiramisu): 25% (25ml) VG 75% PG (including Nic and flavoring) - 10% (10ml flavoring) - 35% (35ml) Nic (36mg/ml) - 30% (30ml) PG = 12.6 mg/ml juice (would be 14mg/ml without flavoring) ============================================================================= To make 100ml of juice (Tiramisu): USING MFS 48MG/ML NIC 25% (25ml) Vg 75% PG (including Nic and flavoring) - 10% (10ml flavoring) - 25% (25ml) Nic (48mg/ml) - 40% (40ml) PG = 12.0 mg/ml juice (would be 13.33mg/ml without flavoring) ============================================================================= And for my pre-mixed base (to mix with Tiramisu or other 10% flavors) - using 48mg/ml -------------------------------- For each 10 ml base made: 2.5 ml VG 2.5 ml Nic 4.0 ml PG = 13.33 mg/ml (or 12.0 mg/ml once mixed with 10% flavoring) When making in a 250ml bottle, make 240 ml base (so room to shake up) When making in a 500ml bottle, make 480? So, to mix base in a 250ml bottle, make 240ml: VG - 2.5 * 24 = 60ml Nic - 2.5 * 24 = 60ml PG - 4.0 * 24 = 96ml First, pull old hand-made labels off bottles and put a separate, small label across the bottom of each bottle says how many ml each holds. Before making and labeling base mix. ============================================================================= ============================================================================= To make 100ml of juice (tobacco): 25% (25ml) VG 75% PG (including Nic and flavoring) - 3% (3ml) tobacco flavoring - 35% (35ml) Nic (36mg/ml) - 37% (37ml) PG = 12.6 mg/ml tobacco juice ============================================================================= According to zoiDman: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/580219-diy-worm-3.html#post13608150 Volume (P) is defined by Mass (M) divided by Density (D) ... P = M / D And the Density of Nicotine is 1.009 g/ml and 1 mg = .001g So P = .001g / 1.009g/ml => Volume of 1mg of Nicotine = .00099ml Note: As Hoosier Mentioned. Density and Mass are Relative terms. The Density I think is given at 72F @ 1 Bar of Pressure. And the Mass was given at Sea Level. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, 1 ml of 100 mg/ml would be about 0.1 ml nic and the rest base PG/VG. Assuming he's correct.
